About the role...

We work with some of the biggest names in the property management industry, helping them with their commercial, residential and mixed used sites. It’s challenging, fast paced and keeps us on our toes.

We partner our clients with their service charge accounting to ensure they hit their KPI targets. It’s not just about delivering compliance; but making sure that we support them through their challenges, giving them full transparency and focusing on continual improvement. We work with a wide range of people – from finance professionals to surveyors, from developers and investors to asset managers – and building strong relationships with them is key.

Snapshot, our workflow management system, plays a big part in this. It’s ability to track progress on each stage of the work gives great visibility of what is happening, and the reporting functionality provides live management information to keep everyone informed and in control.

We’re looking for someone who can manage the delivery on our client relationships, supporting our leadership team to help us grow the business and wants to develop their commercial skills. There will be the opportunity to get involved in team and operational projects as we take the next steps towards our exciting future.

About you…

You will be ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent) and looking for a new challenge, or rather somewhere to challenge yourself.

You might be working in a Service Charge Accountancy firm or Accountancy firm, looking for that next step, or already be within the property industry and looking for a new challenge. Some of our recent recruits have made that move and brought their on the ground, industry experience into our team.

You’ll have bags of personality, you’re good with people and, oh… you’ll be pretty good with numbers too.

Your focus will be planning, executing and finalising all areas of Service Charge assignments alongside our Managers and Partners. By doing this, you’ll help us deliver an exceptional client experience that’s central to everything we do.

What you’ll be doing/need…

So what will the role involve? Well some of what to expect will be:

• A team player able to work at pace and under pressure – you’ll often have to gather information fast and work with groups of people to work things through.

• Able to demonstrate a leadership/coaching style – you will be able to support and develop more junior members of the team and project manage assignments.

• A great communicator, able to build relationships internally and with our clients – meetings, phone calls, emails whatever it is – you’ll be straight-talking, open, and good at getting messages across.

• Have excellent attention to detail – you’ll get involved near the end of projects, getting everything ready for sign off and reviewing work the team has completed.

• ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent
