Our Client Services Assistant opportunity is a role which will support you in building the foundations and knowledge you need for a successful career. It’s a great stepping stone to progress into other roles, such as Client Services Associate or Paraplanner, depending on your strengths and aspirations.

As the successful Client Services Assistant, you will support the Client Services Associate in the administration of client’s data and provide day to day administrative support to the team based from our East Midlands office.

What you’ll be up to…

  • Management of prospects: working with the Relationship Managers to manage leads, coordinate initial meetings and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Update and maintain client data on our back-office system Xplan: keeping the information accurate, up to date and compliant.
  • Review meeting preparation: prepare documents and obtain updates and valuations from providers.
  • Sending and chasing Letters of Authority.
  • General office administration: management of post, printing, booking meeting rooms etc.
  • Supporting the wider Client Services team with any ad-hoc requests.

The Client Services Assistant is an important role that sits in the heart of our team so to really pull it off you need to be/have:

  • Someone that enjoys administration, organisation and working in a support role.
  • A people person – you’ll be engaging with clients, providers and other team members.
  • A team player – we help each other out and love a team social.
  • Incredibly diligent – communicate and explain things simply and clearly.
  • Very high attention to detail - we have slick, well-defined processes.
  • Able to work well under pressure and organise a busy workload.
  • Self-motivated to learn both on the job and through study. Ideally, we would like you to work towards the Diploma in Financial Planning as part of your career progression.
