About the role...

We have an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced Resource Co-ordinator to join our growing Audit Operations team. With our ‘work from anywhere, forever’ policy you can really make this role work so that we get the best of you. The role is crucial to the smooth running of our audit department and will involve liaising with stakeholders internally, to plan our day-to-day resourcing needs. We like to challenge the status quo at Cooper Parry and we are looking for someone to embrace that and bring fresh ideas to the table. 

The successful candidate will have experience of working as a resourcing co-ordinator and will be reporting to our Resourcing Manager.

What you’ll be doing:

So, what will the role involve? Some of what to expect will be:

  • Liaise with stakeholders internally to capture day to day resourcing needs across a multi-functional audit team.
  • Manage resource across 4 departments and 3 offices within our growing audit team
  • Maintain our resource planner and ensure assignments are always allocated 12 months in advance
  • Work alongside our audit manager team to find solutions for day-to-day issues with resourcing
  • Responsible for maintaining our resource request system and making any changes to resource bookings in a timely manner
  • Work closely with our Business Development team and hold time on our resource planner for ongoing pitches
  • Challenge resource bookings to ensure a suitable team is allocated to assignments based on experience and skillset
  • Review resource bookings against fee’s agreed to identify any shortfalls or overbookings
  • Provide timely and accurate information to the resourcing manager on available resource
  • Monitor our holiday planner and ensure that holiday bookings are held 12 months in advance
  • Monitor holiday requests from our students to ensure time out of the business around exams is in line with our company policy
  • Update our resource planner for any new recruits and work with the resourcing manager to allocate jobs / training based on their skillsets and training needs
  • Work closely with our training manager and allocate time out of the business for internal training courses
  • Work closely with our student support manager to allocate time out of the business for college and exams
