We’ve got a brilliant opportunity for a self-motivated and ambitious Manager to join our growing Indirect Tax team, led by Damian Shirley. The role is also open to an experienced Assistant Managers that are looking to advance their career journey.

As a Manager in our Indirect Tax Team you’ll be technically strong with the ability to deal with challenging client queries across a broad variety of sectors, to manage complex projects and deliver those projects with the support of the wider team. You’ll have a sense of pride in your work and strive for an exceptionally high quality output. This role will involve you building relationships with clients and firm-wide team members, as you will be a “go to” person for indirect tax matters.

You’ll be passionate about the success of Cooper Parry as a whole and its extensive client base… You won’t just want to answer queries, you’ll want to support businesses achieving their own growth journey, and in particular Owner Managed Businesses and tech driven high growth businesses as they aim to grow on an international stage.

What you'll need...

  • Strong technical skills
  • Commercially aware with the ability to think outside of the problem
  • Ability to build and retain strong relationships
  • Have trained in practice in either a legal or accounting environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Show sound judgement
