About the role...

Do you love technical accountancy? Are you a great project manager? Do you love organising, and running a slick process that makes everyone’s lives much easier? If so, please read on.

We have an exciting new role within our growing CP Futures team. If you love a technical role, and really enjoy leading a process, then this role is for you. This role will take full control of the statutory accounts process for our audit teams, helping them focus on what they do best. You’ll be working with the Audit Senior Managers and Managers to deliver the service as well as building a relationship directly with the clients and you’ll report to Gary Rouse, our amazing Head of CP Futures!

You will be involved in reviewing financial statements, producing statutory reports and resolving any discrepancies or queries in relation to the audit process whilst being technically strong and commercially savvy enough to offer help with process implementation surrounding various reporting projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your accountancy career and obtain key practical skills and business knowledge within a supportive team environment of a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation.

What you’ll need

• Strong technical experience and knowledge of FRS 102 and relevant disclosures and proactively maintains this knowledge

• Knowledge/experience of IFRS desired but not essential

• Experience of working with large groups of companies and consolidated accounts

• Excellent project management skills which will be needed to liaise with the audit team and client and ensure the process is efficient and slick

• Great attention to detail and ability to prepare a high-quality set of accounts

• Ability to manage a team of people working on different assignments.
