Cooper Parry is growing…fast! And as part of that growth and because of it we’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our People Team.

Based from our Castle Donington office (but offering plenty of flexibility); this role will be recruiting for our Midlands and London offices so experience of recruiting within the South/London market is preferred and regular London bound travel will be required.

We’re looking for an experienced Recruiter …ideally skilled at recruiting our industry specialisms but if that’s asking too much then a savvy Recruitment professional who can pick up and understand the market in which we work and the specialist roles we recruit for and the nuances within them…. FAST!

We’re not going to lie-this is a tough gig! But if are up for the challenge then this could be the role you’ve been waiting for!

About the role...

As one of our experienced Recruitment Specialists, you’ll be able to turn your hand to all aspects of recruitment, and the key here being – if you don’t know how to do it, you’ll learn it and show us! You’ll work with our People Team, HR Business Partners, and department Hiring Managers/Partners/Head of Departments to service all parts of the recruitment lifecycle for a selection of business areas. You’ll ensure that all recruitment requirements are advertised; maximising all available attraction methods, provide an excellent candidate journey and continually look to network and head-hunt potential Cooper Parry talent to build a fluid pipeline for current and future recruitment needs.

What you’ll need…

As the ideal Recruitment Specialist candidate, you’ll need to be to demonstrate that…

  • You can show us how you use initiative to solve problems
  • You’re comfortable working at pace and able to be really flexible at changing your focus as things can move and change quite quickly in our business
  • Need to have great time management skills and able to prioritise work; be pragmatic that you can’t do everything today – which is cool but have a plan for how everything can be delivered
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to form great relationships with candidates and key stakeholders…oh yes and the rest of your team!
  • Effective communicator at all levels, across different formats – whether that be written comms, over the phone, video or in person
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience in a similar, internal recruitment or RPO based role (ideally within the same industry/knowledge of the Midlands and/or south/London market)
  • Ability to bring external insights in and keep us ahead of the game
  • D&I / equality agenda experience beneficial; You have knowledge in the area of Diversity & Inclusion and understand specifically the part it plays in the recruitment journey for both the business and candidates. Feeling comfortable and confident to advise colleagues and stakeholders to continuously drive our internal D&I agenda.
