What you'll be up to...

Working with some of the most exciting companies in the UK, your training will be in Transaction Services, with a wider peer group training in one of our Audit areas, (Private Business, Big Business, Not for Profit or Pensions) so you won't be on your own. This will give you a solid base of business transactions and financial due diligence and in a few years, you will be leading and taking charge of teams, being responsible for delivering projects for clients.

Our Transaction Services team is based at either our Head Office at East Midlands Airport or central Birmingham. You will study for your AAT/ACA Chartered Accountant Qualification, over 3 years for a Graduate programme or 4 years as an Apprentice.

What does the day to day look like…

  • Detailed review and documentation of client information (annual accounts, management accounts, information memorandums, forecast models)
  • Assess the accuracy and reliability of client information
  • Daily communication with various members of client finance teams to understand their systems and information
  • Assist in preparing financial databooks and due diligence reports
  • Play a key part in meeting client deadlines, which can sometimes be quite tight!
  • Working in small teams undertaking financial analysis of a company's financial statements and wider management information
  • Working in different field work teams, ranging from on client’s premises, the office, remote dependant on client/team specific needs.
  • You will attend college on block release.

  • A logical thinker who can analyse and interpret data.
  • Want to stretch yourself and go above and beyond the norm
  • Be motivated to achieve success in the qualification
  • Play all in to support the wider team
  • A minimum of 3 A-levels or A-level equivalent qualifications for school leavers, or bachelor’s degree in any subject for graduates
