Audit Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity to become a part of our Tech & High Growth team. Based out of either our London or East Midlands office, we provide a seamless service as Audit, Tax, R&D and Early Stage teams, working together as a unit to put growing companies in the best position to fly!

As Audit Manager you will be a passionate, talented, and determined individual; experienced in the field of audit and won’t shy away from a challenge.

You will be supporting these incredibly inspirational businesses on their journey by:

• Focusing on planning, executing, and finalising all areas of audit assignments alongside our Directors and Partners
• Reviewing assignments, providing constructive feedback and support to the team
• Managing a portfolio of clients and communicating engagement progress, problems, financial information and other business concerns
• Participating in networking and building client relationships
• Achieving engagement profitability - billings and collections
• Supporting partners with business development activities and client tender processes
• Really pulling together and working as part of a team to meet deadlines, actively contribute to help the team to meet its objectives and ensure client demands are exceeded
• Getting actively involved in the guidance and development of Juniors
• Providing technical expertise to ensure audit procedures performed are conducted to correct standards and accounts preparation is accurate

What you’ll need…

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Looking for a new challenge, or rather somewhere to challenge yourself
• If you are an Assistant Manager looking for the next step in your career, you must have 3 years of experience
• Demonstratable experience managing a variety of audit assignments
• Bags of personality, you’re good with people and, oh… you’ll be pretty good with numbers too
• The desire to push, challenge, and develop your career
• A keen interest in working with Tech & High Growth companies (experience in this area is desirable)
