The Role...

To manage a key client account for the provision of property management accounting and financial reporting services, working in partnership with their in-house property management team and be responsible for the overall delivery for a large portfolio of investment and occupied assets.

What you’ll be doing...

• Connecting with the client’s key business executives and stakeholders

• Developing strong relationships with the client and answering queries as well as being lead contact for all client account management matters. This will include regular reviews to drive continual improvement

• Liaising cross-functionally with internal and client external teams

• Identifying new business opportunities among existing customers of the client and being responsible for contract deliverables and management

• Communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives and prepare reports on account status

• Delivering our services according to the contract, SLAs and KPIs, in accordance with RICS and other regulatory bodies deadlines

• Playing a key role in the project management, control and risk management of the delivery of the work to our client

• Assist our client with challenging requests or issue escalations from their clients as needed

• Working in partnership with a client’s property management team

• Budget and forecast work, along with tracking key account metrics, may become part of the role in the future

What you’ll need...

• Proven work experience as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager

• Key understanding and ability to deliver to SLAs

• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present to and influence key stakeholders at all levels

• Solid experience with account management software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

• Ability to multi-task while maintaining sharp attention to detail

• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong can-do attitude with an ability to handle challenging conversations

• Experience of finance

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field is desirable

• Flexibility to travel regularly throughout the UK as this may be required

This full-time role will be based at our Client’s Birmingham site, although there may be a requirement for UK travel
