We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Tax Resource Co-ordinator to join our growing Tax team. This is a brand-new role, so there is lots of opportunity for the successful Coordinator to make it their own!

What you’ll be doing…

You will be crucial member to the team, ensuring the smooth running of our tax department by liaising with stakeholders internally to plan the day-to-day resourcing needs and identifying resourcing solutions that consider the needs of the client, deadlines and skills within the team. You will…

  • Work closely with stakeholders to find solutions for resourcing conflicts
  • Maintain the resource request system, making necessary changes to the planning as required
  • Maintain the resource reporting data to provide a clear picture on capacity across the business
  • Monitor utilisation across all levels and flag any shortfalls or over-utilisation
  • Forecast future resourcing needs and analyse future resource data to highlight any areas of concern
  • Update our resource planner for any new recruits and allocate jobs / training, as well as for any known leavers
  • Work closely with our training manager and student support manager to allocate time out of the business for all in team

The key for this role is organisation, to keep on top of the resource for the team, but also to be adaptable to anything that might effect the planning. You will be hands on, proactive and an important part to ensuring our audit team is running at their best.

What you’ll need…

You will be a solutions focused person, with acute organisational skills and adaptability to boot! You will also have…

  • Previous scheduling and effectively dealing with resource management
  • Ideally have experience scheduling within a tax team, however this is desirable
  • Be ambitious and driven as you will be given the opportunity to implement and manage your own processes
  • A self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team
